Santiago City

Santiago, is the capital of Chile, a very long country.. This city is also in the center, and belongs to the Metropolitan Region.

In this place we can find a lot of diversity, about culture, people, weathers, architecture, etc. A few of citizens really like this city, because it have a lot to offer, and a lot of potential, sadly a sleeping potential.. Santiago is on a valley, between the mountains, one of them is the “Cordillera de los Andes”, a mountain range that runs the across all the country.

In winter Santiago looks very nice, because of the snowy mountains, but the rest of the year, over the city we found a lot of pollution, that is very dangerous, and make the city look bad.

Well, this City is a kind of a jungle, full of cars and people, next to the center, there are some hills that change all the grid, and create beautiful places, with a lot of green public spaces. To complement this, we have a river that connect the East and the West. This is very helpful for the organization and the design of the city. And also one of the sleeping potential that we have. Why sleeping? Because we have river since ever, but we don´t use it at all, and it could be amazing, that all the people could use the river, to walk next to it, under big green threes, ride bikes, etc.

In the center of the city, we can find a lot of ancient building, of other times, some of them in a good condition, others falling to pieces, inside this building, we can find a lot of history, that we cannot forget, and that we have to preserve, because our heritage is very important, is something that we have to protect, artificial or natural.
